In-Patient Services

Rehabilitation is common for patients recovering from stroke, hip fractures, spinal cord injuries or major multiple traumas. Patients with neurological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's Disease, or even those with certain arthritic conditions, may benefit from inpatient rehabilitation.

Following surgery, for example, some patients aren't quite ready to go home after their acute care stay in the hospital. Whether a patient's surgery was performed at St. Francis or in another facility, patients can often be admitted to swing bed care during the rehabilitation period.
